What is this Blog about?

When people read about 'Bun Maska Corner' they are sometimes confused, is this a food blog?
Our pen names are all food items. So many of our articles have food interwoven in them. (Anticipation, Chicken Angara and Garlic Naan, Evolution of my Boondi Raita) And still, it's not a food blog.
So, 'what is the obsession with food?' Some would ask.
Well, to start with, all of us are foodies. Coming from completely different cultural backgrounds, food is one of the common threads that ties us together. We can have hour long discussions on jalebi or chicken tikka. Good food excites us as much as good writing does. So, food, being part of the blog, comes naturally. Infact, it's non negotiable.
So, just to clear the air, we are a writer's blog with a soft spot for good food. And may be someday, we will try and connect both. Someday, we may write a food blog. But till then, food will enjoy its unique place in our articles as we write about life in general.
